Open source AI
Open models with free source code offer significantly more data sovereignty and freedom of design compared to closed models. These include Gemma, LLaMA by Meta and Mistral AI.
RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation)
RAG is a resource-saving technology for enriching AI models with the company's own knowledge. Company data can be made accessible to an AI quickly and easily. This is also suitable for retrieving real-time data, for example from the intranet. At the moment, we mainly use

Cloud integration
Open source AI models can be operated easily in EU data centres of hyperscalers such as Azure and AWS without having to purchase your own hardware. This is particularly worthwhile for companies that are already committed to a cloud provider. This means that your AI application can be hosted entirely in the cloud provider of your choice. If GDPR-compliant integration is a priority, our German provider partner IONOS offers the corresponding infrastructure.
On-premise
On-premise hosting of AI applications offers your company maximum control over company data and interaction data. Particularly sensitive environments, such as KRITIS companies, benefit from complete data storage in their own data centre. Data never leaves your own data centre.
Example of successful AI integration
Since its launch in 2015, we have been supporting Duden/Cornelsen in the continuous expansion of the Learnattack platform. At the beginning of 2024, we implemented the AI tutor Kim into the successful e-learning offering. Kim is optimised for school-based learning and offers secure access to ChatGPT (GPT-4). The tool accesses Cornelsen's learning videos and exercises and automatically filters out personal data. As it is tailored to specific learning needs according to the curriculum, other topics are not included. This ensures interaction between Kim and the users, focussing on conveying relevant information. The AI tutor was recognised in the „Solutions” category at the Splash Awards in November 2024 and also received an honourable mention for „Most Inspiring Technical Solution & Greatest Business Case”.
