The website umovity.com, developed by UEBERBIT, has been honored at the Gold Stevie Awards in the special category “Best Web Software Programming/Design.” The prestigious award was officially presented in Lisbon on Friday.

We created the website for the Umovity umbrella brand, under which PTV Group and US provider Econolite are combining their strengths in the field of traffic planning and management, based on the Drupal content management framework. With its technologically and creatively sophisticated implementation, Umovity is positioning itself as a leading provider of urban mobility solutions.

Jury praises outstanding technical implementation

The jury of the German Stevie Awards praised the “technically outstanding implementation, which was realized at the highest level in terms of both functionality and design.” Particular mention was made of the in-house development of the UEBERtool for the front end, which “combines strong performance with a high degree of flexibility.”

The complex backend architecture with domain management, multi-level editorial workflow, and multilingualism was rated by the jury as “exemplary – scalable, structured, and cleanly documented.” It also praised the company's commitment to the open source community through its own modules and patches for the Drupal ecosystem. 

Design and strategy impress internationally

According to the jury, the design successfully “credibly conveys the new brand with a visual language of movement, clarity, and innovation.” The website is strategically well positioned as a “central hub for brand building and global positioning.”

One juror summed up the result: “An all-round impressive web development with very high technical, design, and strategic standards – and a model for modern brand architecture in the international tech environment.”

Successful market positioning in the mobility sector

Already 2,900 cities worldwide use Umovity solutions. The website supports the strategic goal of attracting international customers and investors for mobility projects – especially smart cities and mega cities in the US. The clear presentation of the portfolio and competencies on the home page optimally supports this objective.

UEBERBIT has been supporting the PTV Group as a digital agency since 2022. The new Umovity website continues this successful collaboration and has now also received international recognition with the Stevie Award.
